Experience the ultimate Afternoon Tea experience, on Saturday, May 21, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm or Sunday, May 22, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at the historical Julia Morgan YWCA building located at 437 West 9th Street, San Pedro, CA 90731. Please join us for Annual Afternoon Tea, we also encourage your participation by way of a donation, sponsorship or providing a silent auction item when possible.
Our in-person full Royal Afternoon Tea will be served at the historical Julia Morgan Building outside in our Garden Courtyard in a relaxed, charming garden atmosphere or inside our auditorium space. Of course, tea service will have the full elegant display of over 8 different tea sandwiches, sausage rolls, quiche, warm, delicious, home-style scones, with raspberry preserves, lemon curd and cream, delectable dessert morsels, all served on elegant tea towers, with quaint patterns. Then you'll enjoy a full cake service (Victoria Sponge, Caramel Crème, Lemon and perhaps a Coffee Cake) all made with fresh ingredients. Amazing and fantastic Online Auction items will be on display to view.
This event allows us to reach a greater audience to showcase our YWCA, and the services we provide to the community; helping women and families now and in the future! Our mission is to raise $50,000 for our program development and expansion, after we have been through this life-changing pandemic that has affected all of us. We hope you will us reach our goal to impact the lives of all those who seek our services in the coming year.
